    Replacement Wire

    Was happy that I was able to find a new wire for my mother's slicer. Unfortunately found out that the brass block would not slide into the handle and the wire as soldered to short also. After some work with a file in a vice, the blocks would slide in. With a little work with a Dremel tool on the wire in the soldered area, was able to install the blocks with a pair on needle nose plier. Slicer is back to being used again.
