The InSinkErator PRT PowerRinse® Trough (Model PRT™) is a comprehensive waste collection system package engineered for efficiency and durability in industrial kitchens. Renowned for its remarkably low fresh water consumption, it requires only 1 GPM (3.79 LPM) of fresh water per hour, making it an environmentally sustainable choice. The system boasts a powerful pre-rinse and scrapping capability with a recirculated water flow of 70 GPM (264.98 LPM), ensuring thorough cleaning performance. Designed with dry start protection and an adjustable run time, it offers flexibility and safety in operation. The unit comes with a pre-plumbed and pre-wired base assembly that includes control, solenoid, and pump, although additional plumbing for the trough is necessary. Key components include a 1 trough diffuser assembly, integrated air gap, stainless steel mounting tray, and a basket cover. The pump system features a pump housing, 1/4" pump inlet screen, pump impeller, and a 1/4" perforated scrap basket with four ergonomic handles. Additional features include flanged feet, check valves, a 2" drain discharge, and 1/2" NPT water inlets.
