The Spring USA SS-FT-3622 Hidden Frost Top is a self-contained refrigeration unit measuring 36 inches in width and 22 inches in depth, with an overall height of 20-1/8 inches. It is engineered with a 1-inch flange, making it compatible with countertops ranging from 1/4 inch to 1 inch in thickness. The unit features an on/off switch and a digital thermostat for precise temperature control. Constructed in one piece, it includes a hermetically sealed compressor utilizing 404-a refrigerant. The thermostatic expansion valve is equipped with a drier and sight glass to enhance efficiency. Insulated with 2 inches of polystyrene, the unit's condenser housing is supported by a 1-1/4 inch angle iron frame, ensuring robust structural integrity. The base of the condenser is crafted from 16-gauge stainless steel, while the housing is made from 18-gauge 304 stainless steel, offering durability and corrosion resistance. Operating on 110-120 volts and drawing 8.4 amps, the unit provides 920 watts of power and is designed with a NEMA 5-15P plug. Certified by NSF and UL, this frost top is not intended for use with marble surfaces, targeting food service segments that require reliable and compact refrigeration solutions.
