This high-performance griddle incorporates a 1" thick polished steel griddle plate, which ensures excellent heat retention and distribution for consistent cooking results. With a temperature range of 150°F-450°F, the snap-action thermostat provides precise control, supported by a powerful 4350-watt element every 12" of the cooking surface. To ensure a clean and efficient cooking environment, the griddle includes a 5" tapered wrap-around splash guard and a 3-1/2" front grease trough, complemented by a spacious 6 qt. grease drawer. The Star 748TA-240 is built to withstand rigorous use, featuring heavy-duty metal knobs and a robust welded steel frame with a stainless steel exterior.
