The Wells WV-48FB Universal Ventless Hood 48" Cooking Zone Horizontal Air Discharge is a state-of-the-art ventilation solution designed for commercial kitchens seeking high efficiency and safety. With a 48-inch cooking zone, this hood is engineered with a horizontal air discharge system that ensures optimal air flow. It features a comprehensive 4-stage filtration system comprising a grease filter, pre-filter, HEPA filter, and charcoal filter, guaranteeing superior air purity. This unit includes a self-contained fire protection system for enhanced safety, along with air flow sensors and an interlock system to maintain operational reliability. The stainless steel construction provides durability, and adjustable legs offer installation flexibility. The hood is equipped with a self-contained ANSUL® R-102 system, ensuring it is Certified Type-1 compliant. With a powerful 3/4 HP motor, this UL Classified, cULus Classified unit comes with three LED lights to illuminate the cooking area. While it is a non-returnable item, it allows for easy maintenance with replaceable filters, requiring two pre-filters (22618) and one HEPA Charcoal Filter Pack (23312). Furthermore, the design can be field converted to vertical air discharge, making it a versatile choice for diverse kitchen environments.
